Our team has more than 10 years of experience in the new energy/energy storage industry and all team members are from the new energy industry/mobile internet industry.

Therefore, we are seeking to bring highly motivated and experienced individuals to fill out the roles of Channel Sales Representative and Retail Promoters to join our dynamic team to be based in Lusaka. Below are the job descriptions for the above mentioned positions;

Job Title: Retail Promoter(itel Energy Team)

Department: Sales

Reporting to: Sales Director

Work Location: Local stores ( Lusaka )

Headcount: Multiple positions(3 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce and promote solar and energy storage products to customers in retail stores;
  • Engage with customers, answer product-related questions, and guide them through the purchasing decision;
  • Support in-store product display, arrange promotional materials, and maintain brand image;
  • Collect customer feedback and market information and report to the sales team;
  • Assist in offline promotional events such as outdoor campaigns and holiday sales promotions;
  • Maintain store cleanliness and order, and help with basic store operations when needed

Job Requirements:

  • High school education or above, preferably in Marketing, Sales, Energy, or a related field;
  • Prior experience in retail sales, field promotion, or sales of FMCG, electronics, or building materials is preferred;
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills and customer service awareness;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a customer-facing environment with basic sales skills;
  • Willingness to work on shifts or public holidays and ability to work well in a team.

Job Title: Channel Sales Representative (itel Energy Team)

Department: Sales

Reporting to: Sales Director

Work Location: Lusaka (with regional travel as needed)

Headcount: Multiple positions(3 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage distributor and dealer channels in the assigned region;
  • Implement sales strategies and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets;
  • Support partners in local marketing activities and ensure effective market penetration;
  • Collect market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer feedback, to refine sales strategy;
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility;
  • Provide after-sales support, training, and regular communication with channel partners to strengthen cooperation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Business, Electrical Engineering, Energy, or a related field;
  • Proven sales experience in solar, energy storage, or related industries (e.g., power systems, batteries, renewable energy);
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of B2B or channel sales experience in other industries with strong distributor development skills;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to independently develop and manage business partners;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); able to analyze sales data and generate reports;
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to travel locally or regionally when required.
